A certain landscape in Japan, a place that looks like the suburbs of some city. Moemi (Tomoko Yamaguchi) and Yukio (Etsushi Toyokawa) live in an atelier that seems to have been converted from a warehouse.
Moemi watches over Yukio, who makes a living as a writer, but at a certain point, she begins to notice ``abnormal'' behavior. Worried about Moemi tying up her pet turtle and tying her own hands as she knits, she consults a psychiatrist (Tomorowo Taguchi) who diagnoses her with ``compulsive bondage syndrome.'' Before long, the inside of the atelier was tied up with ropes.
