"“A Bride for Rip Van Winkle”", directed by Shunji Iwai and starring Haru Kuroki, has been in theaters since March 26th, and even now, more than two months after its opening day, it continues to have a long run in both Japan and overseas.
Comments such as ``a masterpiece in half a century'' and ``a movie that will make you realize your own happiness after watching it'' have spread through social media and word of mouth, and many repeat visitors have been coming to the theater over and over again.

In response to requests to experience the world of “Rip Van” more deeply, we have decided to release a photo book focusing on Haru Kuroki! Photographer Osamu Kikuchi was closely at the filming site of the movie over a long period of time, from the start of production in November 2014 until the end of filming in July of the following year. It was compiled under the supervision and design of Shunji.

Haru Kuroki is a must-see as she wears a variety of styles from the movie, from teacher style to gorgeous wedding dresses to old-fashioned maid outfits. Haru Kuroki's appearance, which has never been seen before, is shown.
